Gazprom tops Rosneft by market capitalization with 4.5 tln rbl

MOSCOW, May 14 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom’s capitalization exceeded that of oil major Rosneft on Tuesday with 4.490 trillion rubles against 4.461 trillion rubles and ranked second after Sberbank, according to the Moscow Exchange.

Sberbank’s capitalization amounts to 5.120 trillion rubles, including common and preferred shares.

Gazprom jumped 16.36% to 189.67 rubles on the news that the management has recommended directors raise 2018 dividends.
